In Addition to the above standard courses, St Alcuin House Seminary has licentiate and certificate programs in Anglican Studies for mature clergy who want the ordination path to holy orders. We have credit transfer options and a waiver for the ministry practicum if sufficient ministry experience is documented.
Individuals requesting ordination or incardination will be required to undergo a psychological evaluation and background check. Admission to the seminary does not show candidacy for ordination. Those who want to consider the ordination path need to declare that before commencement of the program.
In line with the vision of the late Bishop Peter Riola, SAHS is a tuition-free seminary. We, however, graciously accept donations to our ministry and seminary. Special programs require specialized health professionals, so they are not under a tuition-free program scheme, but can be completed with a nominal fee.
